Terms & Condition Print Services

 

1. PRICE VARIATION AND ESTIMATES

Estimates are based on the Printer's current costs of production and unless otherwise agreed are subject to amendment at any time after acceptance to meet any rise or fall in such costs. The Printer will not be held to any price estimated over the telephone. A firm quotation will be given only on sight and receipt of work.

 

2. TAX

Except in the case of a Customer who is not contracting in the course of a business nor holding himself out as doing so, the Printer reserves the right to charge the amount of any valued added tax payable whether or not included on the estimate or invoice.

 

3. PRELIMINARY WORK

All work carried out whether experimentally or otherwise at Customer's request shall be charged.

 

4. COPY

A charge may be made to Cover any additional work involved where copy supplied is not clear and legible..

 

5. PROOFS

Proofs of all work may be submitted for Customer's approval and the Printer shall incur no liability for any errors not corrected by the Customer in proofs submitted.Customer's alterations and additional proofs necessitated thereby shall be charged extra. When style, type or layout is left to the Printer's judgement changes there from made by the Customer shall be charged extra. Any client that is shown a proof and fails to see and correct an error has accepted that error on his work and can under no circumstances disclaim payment.

 

6. RETENTION OF TITLE

Work remains the Company's property until the Customer has paid for it and discharged all other debts owing to the Company..

 

7. LIABILITY

The Printer shall not be liable for any loss to the Customer arising from delay in transit not caused by the Printer.

 

8. STANDING MATERIAL & ELECTRONIC FILES

(a) When the Printer prepares or amends artwork for the Customer, the Customer is paying for the finished print job and design time to acheive this. Any electronic files used to produce artwork remain the sole property of the Printer. (b) Work prepared on our c omputer system is subsidised and any electronic files, disks or other storage methods remain the sole property of the Printer. They can be sold to the Customer only on payment of an extra amount to bring origination price in line with advertising agency rates, a rate fixed solely by the Printer and at the Printer's discretion only.

 

9. MATERIALS SUPPLIED BY THE CUSTOMER

The Printer may reject any paper, plates or other materials supplied or specified by the Customer which appear to him to be unsuitable Additional cost incurred if materials are found to be unsuitable du ring production may be charged except that if the whole or any part of such additional cost could have been avoided, but for unreasonable delay by the Printer in ascertaining the unsuitability of the materials, then that amount shall not be charged to the Customer.

 

10. FORCE MAJEURE

We will not be held responsible for failure or delay in the carrying out of our obligations under the contract arising from any cause outside our reasonable control or by inability to procure materials or articles except at higher prices due to any such cause and in such circumstances we shall be entitled by notice to terminate the contract in whole or in part without incurring any liability

 

11.PAYMENT METHOD

Unless under prior credit agreement, all orders must be paid for in advance. Full payment must be received and cleared prior to processing the order. All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and payment cannot be accepted in any other currency. Payment for the goods which include delivery charges are to be made through the method shown on our website at the time you place your order. We are pleased to accept, cheque's and Bank Transfers for goods, however all funds must be cleared prior to us commencing any printing

 

12. QUOTATIONS

Orders are accepted subject to our right to adjust prices quoted to take account of any changes in the law or Government regulations requiring us to increase prices by way of direct taxation, import duties, customs and excise duties or otherwise. The prices are based on today's current costs of production and in the event of any increase in wages or costs of materials to us occurring after the confirmation of accepted contract, we shall be entitled to charge such increases to you

 

13. VAT

Where applicable all prices quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate.

 

14. LAW

These Terms and Condition shall be construed in accordance with English Law

 

15. DELIVERY

Every effort will be made to deliver on time, but any delivery day specified is a 'best endevour' and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from delay or error in the delivery of the goods. We cannot give an exact delivery time guarantee or assure that the delivery will be made on as per our indicated time, as we have to rely on Third party delivery company / courier. There is a high probability that the delivery times calculated on the website are maintained if orders are received by specified time and are with print ready artwork.

 

16. DELIVERY DELAY

Print-Print shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. We will not be under any liability whatsoever in the event that we are prevented or delayed from supplying or making delivery of any Goods by any reason or cause beyond our control

 

17. QUANTITY CHANGE TO ORDERS

Any changes in quantity ordered must be made in writing via email prior to commencement of processing. Any increases in the order must be regarded as a separate contract unless written notification is received before work commences on the original order. We reserve the right to alter the delivery date agreed initially due to our having to potentially order in more materials to achieve a desired larger

 

18. PRINT RESOLUTION

All artwork must be supplied as 300dpi Hi-Res PDF's. Print-Print is not responsible for images that may print blurred or pixelated due to customer supplied artwork.

 

 

19. CUSTOMER ARTWORK

All artwork supplied by customers must be supplied in CMYK format. Print-Print cannot be responsible for any colour shift that may occur when converting from RGB to CMYK.
